Homelessness prevention and supported accommodation

 
GM Housing First
GM Housing First was launched in April 2019 and is one of the three Housing First pilots announced by the Government as part of their strategy to tackle homelessness, with the other two pilots running in the West Midlands and Liverpool City Region. We are one of the delivery partners with particular responsibility for Zone C, which covers Stockport, Oldham and Tameside.
 
Supported temporary accommodation
Jigsaw Support’s Supported Temporary Accommodation team assists homeless people in Tameside to find settled accommodation and support them to overcome their barriers to rehousing.
 
Oak Tree House
Oak Tree House is a supported housing environment located in Lancaster. We provide quality accommodation and support to people experiencing or threatened with homelessness and have complex needs within Lancaster
 
Springboard Young People's Homeless Service
The Springboard Partnership provides 24hr quality temporary accommodation and individually tailored support packages for young people.
 
Tameside Young Persons Service
Tameside Young Persons Service offers self contained, dispersed, temporary accommodation, and support to young people between the ages of 17-25, helping them to move on to permanent accommodation.
 
Roots
Service supporting dangerous offenders.
 
Bamber Court
Bamber Court has 10 self contained flats for young mums and their children aged under 5 years in Hindley. Wigan with on site support from staff 24 hours a day.
 
Reubens Court
Reubens Court provides ‘person centred’ support to those with mental health support with the need to develop independent living skills, volunteering opportunities and linking in with community groups.

Our 24-hour supported housing service is for anyone aged 18 or over and living in the local area.
 
Mariners View
Mariners View, Lancaster provides accommodation for young people providing support and help work towards finding their own permanent accommodation.
