Mariners View

Mariners View has 11 self contained apartments for young people who have been in supported housing in the Lancaster and Morecambe area or who have a local connection to the district and looking for a step towards independence and their own permanent accommodation. The service is funded through Lancashire County Council.

Our offer is specific to each individual’s needs/circumstances. Every resident will have fair access to the following opportunities:

  • Bespoke support plan, tailored to individual need
  • Safe and secure accommodation for all genders
  • Budgeting, support and access welfare benefits
  • Life skills and confidence programmes
  • Tenancy management
  • Conflict resolution
  • Links with statutory and voluntary agencies
  • Links to a wide range of volunteering and employment opportunities
  • Life-skills/health and wellbeing and access to recovery networks and more.
Who is eligible?

• Aged 18+
• Anyone meeting the homeless and local connection criteria of one of the district housing authorities in the locality
• Assessed by our service, to not be of significant risk to self, the community or other vulnerable people
• Demonstrate a willingness to engage in a programme of personal development / statutory orders/ move on plan.

How to refer

Referrals are received directly from the local authorities housing options team in the Lancaster, Fylde and Wyre districts.
