Jigsaw Support joins the conversation and asks: Should we be talking about endings in Housing First?

Jigsaw Support’s Services Manager for Housing First, Ursula Ralph will be speaking as part of Homeless Link’s webinar entitled ‘Should we be talking about endings in Housing First?’ It takes place on Tuesday 30 November 2021 from 12pm until 1:15pm.

The webinar will focus on research, funded by Homeless Link and carried out by Imogen Blood & Associates in partnership with University of York, into the effects of reducing or ending the support provided to Housing First participants.

As one of the leading providers of Housing First in the North West, Jigsaw Support was one of the virtual fieldwork sites for the research. Also speaking at the event will be Professor Nicholas Pleace of the University of York, Imogen Blood and Anita Birchall of Imogen Blood & Associates, and Andy Kirk of Bradford City Council.

Jigsaw Support currently provides a number of Housing First services including as a delivery partner in GM Housing First and a specialist service for rough sleepers in Tameside. It also led the way for specialist, gender specific Housing First services; previous services included its Housing First for women ex-offenders pilot project, which came to an end in 2020 and its Housing First for victims of domestic abuse which came to an end in 2021.
