Motiv8, our pioneering project which helps people overcome barriers to work has won yet another accolade.
On Thursday, it received a Highly Commended at the national UK Housing Awards in the Resident and Employment Training Award (+15,000 homes) category.
The awards, which were held virtually due the pandemic, are organised by Inside Housing and celebrate the work done by the UK’s housing sector.
Martin Hilditch, editor of Inside Housing, said: “The UK Housing Awards are about highlighting learning from across the UK. Congratulations to all the winners and commended entries. It really is an opportunity to highlight great performance and hopefully to help it spread more widely.
Gill Brown, chair of Jigsaw Support Board tweeted: “Well done all the Motiv8 team. You’re all fantastic and provide an amazing and much needed service.”
The team was congratulated by Donna Kelly our Group Director Support and Neighbourhoods who said she was very proud to be part of such an amazing partnership.
“This is a fantastic end to what has been a difficult and challenging year for everyone. The pandemic has seen people across the country struggle with job losses and furlough. To be able to provide a service that will help around 5,000 people with wellbeing, skills and support to get them closer to finding work, is testament to the team and brilliant partnership working.”
